How much do blinds cost in Sydney?

Made-to-measure blinds are priced window by window. Here is what moves the price and how to get an accurate number for your home.

Why there is no single price

Every blind, curtain and shutter we supply is made to measure, so the price depends on your windows, not on a price list. A "from" price rarely matches a real home, which is why we quote after measuring.

What changes the price

Size is the biggest factor: larger windows and doors use more fabric and stronger hardware. The type of product matters too, because roller blinds, curtains, plantation shutters and outdoor blinds are very different products. Fabric or material, the way the blind is controlled (manual, cordless or motorised), and layering such as dual roller blinds or sheers with blockout curtains all add to the total.

Installation and site conditions

Standard windows are quicker to fit than high windows, skylights, large sliding doors or exterior openings. A site visit lets us see this and quote properly, instead of guessing from a photo.

How to keep the cost under control

Start with the rooms that matter most, such as bedrooms and rooms that get strong afternoon sun, and do the rest later. Choose the product that suits each room rather than the most elaborate option everywhere. Compare quotes like for like, by fabric or material, control type, and what installation includes.

What to ask for in any quote

Ask what is included (measure, supply and installation), exactly which fabric or material is quoted, how the blind is controlled, the estimated timeframe, and who will measure and install. You can then compare quotes fairly.
