What is a cassette and side channel blind?
A cassette blind rolls its fabric into a neat housing (the cassette) at the top, while the fabric runs in channels down both sides. The channels help reduce light gaps around the edges, which is why this style is often chosen for bedrooms, media rooms and spaces where you want stronger light control than a standard roller blind.
Where it works well
Because of the enclosed look, cassette blinds tidy up the top of the window and suit modern interiors. Side channels add to the installation requirements, so the window frame or recess needs to suit. We check this when we measure and tell you plainly if another blind would be a better fit.
