Outdoor blinds with side tracks
Zip screens are outdoor blinds that run in tracks on each side, which keeps the fabric edges in place and reduces light and wind gaps at the sides. They are used on patios, pergolas, balconies and alfresco areas.
What to think about first
The structure matters most: what the screen fixes to, the size of the opening, and how exposed the area is. Fabric choice changes how much sun and glare is reduced and how much you can see through. We assess these in person, and we say so if an area is not suitable.
Measured and fitted
We measure the opening on site, explain the fabric and operation options, including motorised, and quote across Sydney. You deal directly with the owner from start to finish. See our Cronulla project, where we enclosed an outdoor area that was too hot to use.

Zip screens questions answered
What is a zip screen?
A zip screen is an outdoor roller blind whose fabric edges are held in side tracks, which helps keep the fabric in place and reduces gaps at the sides.
What do zip screens help with?
They help control sun and glare and can give more privacy to an outdoor area. Performance in wind depends on the size, structure and exposure, which we assess at your measure.
Can they be fitted to any patio or pergola?
It depends on the structure and the opening. We look at what the screen will fix to before recommending a system, and tell you plainly if it is not suitable.
