Sheer curtains, Currans Hill

Sheer curtains mounted outside the window reveal in a Currans Hill home, to keep the fabric away from a window that gets a lot of condensation.

Project details

Location: Currans Hill, NSW (Macarthur & South West Sydney)
Product: Sheer curtains
Rooms: Living area, lounge and bedroom
Challenge: Heavy condensation on the windows

The challenge

The homeowner told us that anything she put in the windows ended up going mouldy, because the windows get a lot of condensation. Privacy was not a concern for her.

What we did

Because privacy was not an issue, sheer curtains were a good fit. We mounted them on the outside of the window reveal, which sits the fabric further away from the glass and the moisture, instead of inside the window recess.

The result

The sheers soften the daylight and the look of the rooms, and add a soft, finished feel to the home.
